Dear Nature,
While I think you are beautiful and God sure knew what He was doing when He created all of your many wonders, I am not quite sure why you keep creeping around my house in menacing forms. Take for example the mice you have decided to send skittering through my house at random times. Or maybe the gerbil who escaped the other night and grossed my husband out in the wee hours of the morning! I'm also not a huge fan of the TWO raccoons who were hiding out in my garbage cans last Sunday when I went to take the kitchen trash out! Remember the abandoned baby deer that was in the ivy on our hill last summer? We felt so sad that its mother had left it...
And now...now dear Nature...there is an in-ground bee nest in my front yard!! Why? Why are you doing this to me Nature? You know how much I enjoy walking through your forest trails and the grassy fields at the dog park. You know how I love to hear the cardinals and blue jays in the morning on my deck. You also know that I even like seeing the chipmunks and squirrels running around our driveway and yard.
However, thanks to the aforementioned incidents, I am not currently a fan of yours. Maybe if you'd stop sending threatening things to our neck of the woods, I would become a fan of yours again. Until then, not so much.
Sincerely,
Alliwoo
